Lesley Trites
Lesley Trites is a wine writer and blogger in Montreal, Canada. She writes the blog Girl on Wine and contributes to publications such as Palate Press, an online wine magazine, and Urban Expressions, a celebration of Montreal lifestyle. Also a published poet, she enjoys bringing creativity to her wine writing and is very active in the online wine community, making use of social media tools such as Twitter. She received the Advanced Certificate from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) after studying at Vinécole in the Languedoc region of France and is currently enrolled in the WSET Diploma program through the International Wine Center in New York City. When not writing, she enjoys travelling to wine regions and has explored wine routes in France, Spain, Germany, Greece, Argentina, California, Virginia, British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, and Nova Scotia. She grew up on Canada's east coast and is proud to call herself a Maritimer, although she currently enjoys being part of Montreal's dynamic wine and food scene
